include new DC and AC panels, new lights, new solar panels, and new batteries. The lower half of the hull has also been re plated, and fresh paint applied. The hull recently passed a survey. There was no expense spared in the restoration to this point, however the owners have lost interest and need to part ways with the vessel.
It is powered by twin 6-53 Detroit Diesel
engines, both of which are out of the boat right now. As you can see from the pictures, the hull is a blank slate for whatever you would like to do. It could be converted back to a commercial
vessel, or the houseboat project could
continue. The boat fits easily in a 50 ton travel lift, and is currently stored on the hard in Cambridge Md.
