Auction Process

Salvage, Repossession and Estate Sale Auctions

If you see a vessel you are interested in placing a bid on, please read the below instructions to make your experience as easy as possible.

  • The minimum starting bid is only a guide, and bids below the starting bid will be rejected. Bid as often as you would like, as long as it is above the minimum bid.
  • This style auction allows insurance companies and banks to automatically accept a bid if it is above their minimum. Some auctions will end before the closing date if that number is met.
  • The current bid price will not be posted on the website. Once the auction ends the winning bidder will be notified of their bid.
  • Please inspect the item you are bidding on, and do not rely on the description. Argentino Marine cannot be held liable for inaccuracies in the description. We recommend inspecting the item prior to bidding.
  • Do not bid more the item than you can afford. You are responsible for your bid.
  • If you are the winning bidder and do not pay for an item you will be banned for life from all Argentino Marine Auctions.
  • Buyers are responsible for arranging shipping, and any costs associated with moving an item.
  • All items are Sold AS IS - Without any warranty expressed or implied.
